VOLUNTEERING

            WE ALWAYS NEED NEW VOLUNTEERS TO WORK BOTH MORNING AND EVENING SHIFTS AT THE SHELTER

This is VERY rewarding and very much appreciated as our current volunteers have a lot of work to do to keep the animals happy and healthy and to keep the shelter itself working.   Anyone who has some time, loves animals and would like to help in ANY way would be welcomed with open arms!

Help is needed in cleaning the animals' accommodation and making sure they are comfortable. Walking the dogs is necessary to ensure they have enough exercise.

Playing with the animals to get them accustomed to being around people and well socialized before adoption is very important.

The animals will appreciate the companionship and this is very rewarding for volunteers.

When there are puppies, foster homes are needed as these young animals need a little bit more care and attention. 

OTHER WAYS TO VOLUNTEER

A handyman who could be called on for minor repairs.

Volunteers are needed to help with events such as the Craft and Bake sales, sponsored dog walk, etc.
