About Us

We are a volunteer, non-profit organization with charitable status located in Pincher Creek, Alberta.

Our mission is to find loving homes and ensure a safe environment for lost, unwanted or abused animals.

Our main goal is to ensure that physical and emotional needs are met for all of our animals.

Our shelter for homeless cats and dogs  is a no-kill* facility.  We strive to find loving homes for all of our four legged friends!

The 2022 Board of Directors are:
Fred White, Barb Schramm, Felicia White, Haxstyn Peters, Kelly Lepine and Karen Horn

*Unfortunately there are rare occasions when it is necessary to euthanize an animal.  This only occurs after all avenues have been explored.  Cases when this is necessary are if an animal is sick or injured beyond veterinary help or proves to be unadoptable due to excessive aggressive behaviour, either towards people or other animals.  Euthanasia is carried out upon consultation with and by a qualified veterinarian and the decision is never taken lightly.
Funding:
The following have generously given to help the animals:
The Town of Pincher Creek and the Municipal District of Pincher Creek.
•Community Initiative Program Operating Grant, Government of Alberta, Alberta Lottery Fund
Nutram Feed
