All dogs from PC Humane Society are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (including rabies), dewormed and microchipped before they are adopted to their new homes. 
Annie is a kengal mix, approx 5 years old. She requires an owner with experience with guardian breeds as she does have a stubborn streak in her. She is affectionate with those she knows and trusts. She is a big girl (definitely hitting that 100 lb mark) and her owner must be confident around her and for her. She LOVES to swim and go for walks. She doesn't mind puppies and dogs who are calm but would do best as the only dog in the home. She ignores cats and would be fine working along side some barn cats. Annie has had professional training in a boarding situation and knows her commands like the back of her paw. She is a lovely girl who just hasn't found her right fit yet. A fenced larger property with some privacy/seclusion would be a wonderful fit for this girl.

​Herman is our middle aged Rottweiler mix. He is a gentle giant who takes his job of letting everyone know he is there seriously (aka, he pees on everything outside.) He is not really interested in other dogs but will not put up with rude behaviour. He ignores the cats in shelter. Herman is tiptoeing around 100 lbs. He came in very underweight but has quickly filled out with regular meals. He has improved greatly and is comfortable with people around his food now that he is secure in where his next meal comes from. 
Waylon is a juvenile puppy who is full of character, love and shenanigans. He lives for food (I promise we feed him) and catches onto things pretty quickly. He loves people and is learning appropriate boundaries. Waylon is likely going to be a large dog once full grown. 
Sunny is a female pyranees mix, approx. 5 years old. She loves people and has pretty decent recall. She is working on her leash walking manners with our volunteer dog walkers. She has mostly lived outside for her entire life but would likely adapt well to inside as she enjoys being with people and does not like soiling her inside kennel. She has a high prey drive so no small animals or cats in her home is a must. She has an adorable freckle on her tongue that just adds to her character, which she has a lot of. 
Jasper is a young male shepherd mix. He loves a good game of fetch, but makes you work for it a bit (will he bring it all the way back?) If you are patient, he slowly moves it closer ;) He is also a soccer star and loves to play keep away with a slightly deflated soccer ball. He has quite an even temperament and would likely do well with another dog in the house. He is untested with cats. Still needs some work on leash manners but is always ready for an adventure! Jasper is neutered, vaccinated and ready for his new home!
Alba is a very large possibly pit mix. He was likely abandoned at a popular dump site but was lucky enough to be brought into our shelter quickly before he was hurt. He is an adult male, likely fully grown. He seems to get along with dogs that have manners. He has probably been around cats before as he was curious but not intending harm, though we always recommend slow introductions and active supervision. He is very sweet and affectionate and seems to think he is a lap dog when you sit in the kennel with him. He does regular check ins in the yard with staff and volunteers. Alba is an all around sweetie pie.
