The Pincher Creek Humane Society has a wide range of animals waiting to be adopted. Whether you want a puppy or kitten or a more mature dog or cat there is something for you.
We would love to simply give all of our animals away to loving and caring homes. Unfortunately the shelter is a non-profit organization and the adoption fees help cover the costs incurred treating and housing the animals, providing emergency vet treatment, advertising, paperwork, ongoing facility operations, spays and neuters. The fees collected from our adopted animals allow us to care for the next animal that comes in. Without this fee the shelter would be unable to operate.
The Pincher Creek Humane society ensures that all our adopted pets receive two vaccinations (including one rabies inoculation) and parasite treatment. We sterilize all of the unaltered animals that enter the society. By ensuring all our animals are spayed or neutered we make a positive impact on the community’s pet overpopulation.
We welcome you to come and visit our adoptable animals!
All of the animals that enter our door have their unique stories, if only they could talk! We endeavor to ensure that all animals are placed in loving, caring, stable and lifelong homes suited to the animal’s personality. The staff and volunteers at the Pincher Creek Humane Society develop relationships with every animal in our care. Familiar with the history, habits, and individual needs of each animal we look forward to matching you with the appropriate pet for your life style. Our adoption program and screening process have been streamlined to ensure that our animals can find a forever home that matches those unique personalities. All potential adopters must be at least 18 years of age and complete a PCHS/SPCA adoption application.
